Formalisation of Indian economy by building larger capacity for small & medium enterprise and create more sustainable employment opportunities for our youth.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) contribute significantly in the economic and social development of the country by fostering entrepreneurship and generating large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost, next only to Agriculture.

As per the Annual Report FY 2021-22 of Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India, at present around 63 million SMEs in India account for close to 30 per cent of the gross domestic product (GDP) and contribute to nearly 50 per cent of its exports.
